On April 23rd, students were invited, in groups of two and three, to stay within one city block of the classroom (roughly 640 feet), to forage what they could, and, in about an hour's time, to make and document a piece inspired by or responding to this semester's third artist-writer pair: the visual artist Andy Goldsworthy and the poet Li-Young Lee.
